[Q] Can I   put a SAN or NAS configuration in an SDS  Vault?

[A] Yes you can, using Fibre Channel or SCSI cables.
The SDS Vault has enough interior room to be able to mount some SAN/NAS configurations in a rack mount style. The Vault's conduits into the inner shell are large enough to house all the necessary power and communications cables. The water tight seals guarantee that humidity will not be an issue after the equipment is mounted inside the vault. The internal temperature can be maintained with very few modifications. Because it set underground, the vault itself provides excellent security from external forces, such as fire, flood, earthquake, theft, and terrorism.
We are currently in the process of upgrading one of our vaults to accept a NAS configuration.
